What Is a Healthy Relationship?
A healthy relationship involves two people actively respecting and listening to the each other in regards to what they want out a the relationship.
It also means being assertive in your communication style.
Assertiveness does not mean being aggressive, which means pushing your thoughts and wishes onto your partner, without considering their feelings.
Assertiveness also does not mean being passive, which means keeping your thoughts and wishes to yourself, and only doing things that please your partner.
It is a healthy middle ground, expressing what you want and need from the relationship while respecting your partner and their wants and needs.
