In general, stress can be positive or negative. The stress it takes on a person's body to run a mile is stressing, but it is only temporary. Stress can come with being in new situations, and can help in preparing your body for qucik
However, negative stress has the ability to manifest (change into) into other ailments in your body. Being worried about something happening at school or at home can transform into neck and upper back pains. digestion issues and potentially mental breakdowns.
Which is why it is so important to learn how to combat stress before the effects become too overwhelming.

So How Do I Do That?First, acknowledge your stressors!
What stresses you out? Is there a way to combat or avoid it? If so, DO IT. That's the fastest way to handle stress Some remedies are fast and simple, sticking to this will not eliminate stress entirely, but you can be better equipped if you try these ideas out: Breathe...seriously. Breathe in deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth for about 10 times Communicate. If you need to vent, vent. If you need to cry, cry. Sometimes the way to get rid of the stress is to let whatever feeling you are experiencing to just happen. Take a time out. Physically leave whatever is giving you stress for a few minutes, then come back to it when you're prepared. If you can't leave then mentally check out, and come back whenever you're ready. |
